Nashville indie pop act Arlie swiftly transformed from a solo bedroom pop project to a regional sensation and secured a major-label contract. Started by singer-songwriter Nathaniel Banks at Vanderbilt University, Arlie expanded into a full band, catching attention with catchy singles like “big fat mouth” and “didya think.” Their 2018 debut EP, “Wait,” received acclaim after a summer of touring and a Bonnaroo appearance. The journey continued with hit singles “karma,” “crashing down,” and “sickk,” leading to their 2022 self-produced full-length debut, “Break the Curse,” which further solidified their retro-pop sound with modern production. Signed with Atlantic Records, Arlie’s rise showcases their infectious melodies and musical evolution.
